The dinner setting was truly breathtaking – one would think they were dining at a luxurious Marrakesh villa. Yet, this bohemian Moroccan-inspired evening took place in a field outside of Round Top. Under a starlit sky, the magical atmosphere was complemented by the impressive feat of overcoming logistical challenges, such as the lack of water and power, to create a 5-star experience. From the ground up and entirely off the grid, our dedicated and resourceful team transformed the remote location into a captivating oasis in the heart of a collector’s paradise.

To ensure that the atmosphere was authentic to the environment, we hand-selected and sourced pieces that perfectly complemented the antique surroundings. It was essential that every detail reflected the Round Top artisan vibe from start to finish.

Colorful and vibrant elements were used throughout the glamping tents, including custom serving ware to present the entrées and vintage tapestries. Transplants Florals utilized fresh fruits and florals that adorned the centerpieces. The ambiance was enriched by hundreds of hand-dyed fabric pieces draped over the tables, forming a dynamic installation that evolved through the evening, illuminated by the soft glow of glass lanterns.

Upon arrival, guests were treated to an exclusive cocktail-making class, where they learned to craft the event’s signature beverage. They also had the opportunity to explore a pop-up shop featuring handmade kaftans, shawls, and artisan jewelry, adding an international flair to the experience.

The attire for the evening was an opportunity for guests to fully immerse themselves in the bohemian and vintage theme, with many embracing the chance to don Kaftans. This was not just a dinner but a luxury experience, where every detail seamlessly merged with the tones of the decor, creating an al fresco dinner that was nothing short of enchanting

One of the most remarkable elements was the seamless integration of the surroundings into every aspect of the event. The menu featured Moroccan tile fans and the signature Yves Saint Laurents’ Majorelle blue, whose villa was the inspiration for the dinner, tying in details of the location with the overall theme.

The evening showcased layers of handmade details, with artisan elements adorning every table. The culinary adventure was masterfully orchestrated by Yann Nury, a classically trained French chef specifically chosen for this event due to his mobile offerings. His AirStream kitchen allows him to come readily prepared for outdoor events without using any indoor space and serve guests in a spacious open-air setting. The retro-fitted AirStream and Defender added an extra layer of sophistication and style to the gathering.

From the handmade personalized gifts and beyond, this was Southern Hospitality at its absolute finest, with no detail overlooked.
